The company’s newest BRG is VALOR, which stands for Veterans and Allies Leading Organization Results, and was launched last year. The group is comprised of more than 800 associates who are former military service members, active-duty service members, military spouses and partners, and allies.

Just before the October recess, ASA Government Affairs Director Steve Rossi headed to Capitol Hill for discussions focused on water quality, as well as supply chain and small business issues.

As an owner or manager, your laser focus is on each vendor’s profit and, mistakenly, assume that your salespeople share your bottom-line focus. I suggest you are focusing on the deliverables, and they are involved in the process, the sales process. In most cases, you will not be able to move your salespeople to your side of this question by simply showing them the money. The way to move them is to show them how these HVVs will fuel their desire to be a great showroom salesperson.

As we quickly close in on the 2022 mid-term election, voters have been subjected to a veritable rollercoaster ride of rhetoric and their sentiment has reflected this.
The ASA Advocacy team has been busy over the last quarter representing ASA membership. In addition, through our partnership with HARDI, we also represented HARDI members in codes and standards activities. The following provides updates on those activities.
