The American Supply Association (ASA) announced the CONNECT program will be offered as a FREE member benefit beginning in April 2024. The decision comes after the ASA CONNECT Task Group met to discuss how it can expand member engagement in the virtual communities and enhance the value to its membership. 

The Task Group has also decided to enact the following enhancements to the CONNECT program:

  • Eight CONNECT Communities will be offered beginning in April 2024. (Marketing, Sales, Operations, Training, HR, Accounting/Finance, Purchasing and Showroom Manager).
  • Each session will now be FREE to attend, which means that we will end the previous paid facilitator program.
  • Each community will conduct sessions on a quarterly basis instead of the current monthly basis.
  • Each session will cover topics important to the community. Prior to each quarterly session, ASA will survey participants to determine what topics are top of mind to be discussed.
  • Sessions will be facilitated by ASA member volunteers and association staff.

It is the ASAs goal to broaden the reach of the CONNECT program and allow more members to participate and gain benefits. Eliminating the fee to participate while enhancing the sessions, CONNECT will offer professionals in vital job functions solutions to shared challenges, gain insight and practical ideas while continuing to learn from peers on the critical topics they all face. Registration is now open and free to each ASA member for each of the 8 CONNECT communities.
