- Dakota Supply Group (DSG) added MARIE ROBINSON to its board of directors as of Jan. 1. She’s been with Capri Holdings since 2014. In other news, the distributor promoted TRACY ROETTGER to regional operations manager of its Minnesota region. DGS also hired MIKE STORDAHL as corporate segment manager — waterworks.
- ED CRAWFORD, president of AD’s electrical business unit and chief marketing officer, has elected to retire, effective Apri 24. AD announced it is forming an electrical and industrial business unit and promoting JACK TEMPLIN to lead the new unit.
- Industrial Supply Co. promoted JESSICA YURGAITIS to senior vice president of marketing and product management, RUBEN MENDEZ to senior vice president of sales and customer experience, and MICHELLE LAKIN to chief financial officer.
- Chelsea Building Products announced the addition of DANIEL FRANKLIN as product manager, specialty products.
- T&S Brass and Bronze Works hired NIKOLAI HINZER as Europe regional sales manager.
- Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors Association of Texas announced the hiring of SARAH RAYBURN as its new executive director.
- Oatey Co. promoted KATHERINE LEHTINEN to vice president, brand and digital marketing.
- Brasscraft Mfg. Co. awarded the 2019 Robert M. Zell award to ROHIT BHAGAT from its Novi, Michigan headquarters. The award recognizes employees who exemplify the founder’s legacy, inspire trust with customers and advance the company’s culture of excellence. Bhagat is a manufacturing engineer at Brasscraft.
- Caleffi North America’s BOB “HOT ROD” ROHR was presented with the 2020-2022 Carlson-Holohan Industry Award of Excellence during the Radiant Professionals Alliance event in Orlando, Florida. He’s is the eighth recipient of the award, joining BNP Media Plumbing Group columnists DAN HOLOHAN, JOHN SIEGENTHALER and DAVE YATES in that prestigious club.
- Buffalo, New York-based ERB CO.’s BUFFALO PLUMBING SHOWROOM rolled out its new consumer-centric website at buffaloplumbingshowroom.com. The website was put together by MyPlumbingShowroom.com, a service of BRAVO BUSINESS MEDIA.
- THE HILTI GROUP announced it grew sales by 4.3% in the 2019 business year to CHF 5.9 billion. In local currencies, growth was 6.3% against the previous year.
- RECTORSEAL was approved as a vendor by the IMARK PLUMBING buying group, a vertical of IMARK GROUP, on Jan. 2. RectorSeal, out of Houston, Texas, is part of the CSW Industrials group of companies.
- ZURN INDUSTRIES acquired the assets of JUST MANUFACTURING, a manufacturer of stainless steel designer and engineered sinks, commercial faucets and accessories.
