Edison, N.J.-based General Plumbing Supply recently announced the opening of its branch location at 1164 Castleton Ave., in Staten Island, N.Y. This is General Plumbing Supply’s 16th location, first in New York City and first outside New Jersey. 

Like all other GPS locations, the Staten Island branch will stock the full line of plumbing, heating, HVAC and industrial supplies that the company offers, including Kohler, Goodman, Rheem, Weil-McLain, Daikin, Moen and NIBCO.  It also will have a large and diverse onsite inventory to support the immediate availability that customers have come to know and expect from GPS locations along with the rest of the company-wide inventory, GPS stated.

This 14,000-square-foot location will allow GPS to get deeper into Staten Island and New York business and better serve the customers in those markets with whom it already does business with, GPS added.
