Our spotlight this month is on Dennis Broderick, senior vice president of sales for the In-Sink-Erator Division of Emerson Electric Co.

All of us at ASA were tremendously saddened when Karl Neupert passed away on December 16, 2003 after a short but courageous fight against pancreatic cancer.

With so many companies cutting back on travel and other operational expenses, the Foundation was finding it increasingly difficult to fill our own Institute of Distribution Management.

Early in January the ASAEF activated its new website.

Marketing Support, Inc. has volunteered its services to help support the efforts of the ASA Education Foundation.

As a new twist on getting more of its members involved, ASA's Vendor Member Division will be hosting "Hot Topics" roundtable discussions .

The ASA Education Foundation is working in cooperation with ASA's regional affiliates to sponsor "Train the Trainer" seminars around the country.

We are also looking forward this year to providing sample job descriptions, new editions of ProductPro book courses, and on-line testing for the ASA membership.
