Last fall, amidst the uncertainty of the year to come, the ASA Education Foundation and the ASA Executive Committee committed to move forward with PROJECT VITALITY, the final of three ASA mega initiatives that comprise the Building One Future platform.

Now that the dust has settled from the general election and the U.S. Senate runoff election in Georgia, there is no doubt that the 117th Congress will have the closest partisan balance in modern history.

My final urging to you is that you don’t stop getting involved with ASA just there, and that you go beyond participating to volunteering to help with ASA programs either at the regional or national level.

After last month’s NETWORK2020 Virtual conference, ASA members expressed excitement over the progress on ASA’s initiatives D. NEXT and PROJECT TALENT. 

My No. 1 goal as 2020 ASA president is to drive ASA programs deeper into our member organizations so our members and their employees can “get in the game!” 

At work, we often like to start our meetings with an icebreaker where we do a round of “gratitudes” to get in the right frame of mind

One thing common to all members of ASA is we love this industry and we want to stay in this game for as long as we can.
