The just-released 2022 study, sponsored by the Association Education Alliance, features data from 959 distribution companies representing more than 10,000 locations. ASA is one of 22 distribution-related associations that took part in the survey.
Established in Ontario in 1966, Torbsa is a shareholder-owned group made up of twenty-seven independent building supplies distributors, with 48 locations across Canada.
Members of the AD PHCP Business Unit gathered from May 3 to 5 at the AD PHCP Spring Network Meeting in-person for the first time since 2019 with a record breaking 401 individuals in attendance.

The annual list is based on a survey conducted by Supply House Times and BNP Media Market Research. The Premier 150 list ranks the top PHCP-PVF distributors by their reported sales for the previous year.
AD reported that member sales in the first three months of 2022 were $17.2 billion, an increase of 35% across its 13 divisions and three countries compared to the first quarter of 2021. Same-store sales were up 27%. All 13 of AD’s divisions experienced double-digit sales growth.

Respondents reported calendar-year-to-date sales growth of 24%. For the trailing 12 months ending March 2022, respondents reported strong sales growth of 23.7%.
