American Supply Association members visit Capitol Hill

May 25, 2016

As part of its Plumbing and PVF Spring Meeting in Washington, D.C., in mid-April, members of the AD buying group, in partnership with the American Supply Association, met with their members of Congress about hot-button industry topics.

More than 220 attendees representing nearly 115 member companies participated in more than 170 meetings on Capitol Hill. It was the biggest ASA-associated Capitol Hill visit since NETWORK2013 in Washington, D.C.

Members of Congress heard from AD member companies about issues such as e-fairness, water infrastructure and overtime regulations. In addition to the many meetings on Capitol Hill, a group of AD members and ASA executive staff members met with White House staff about the looming overtime regulations making their way through the process. For more on this event, see ASA News.
