Uponor PEX connection tool
UponorProPEX fittings are a reliable method for making watertight PEX connections quickly and easily with no callbacks. Capitalizing on the unique thermal shape memory of Uponor’s PEX-a Engel-method tubing, ProPEX connections get stronger over time and there is no worry about making behind-the-wall connections because the ProPEX joints will last the life of the building. It takes only four steps to make ProPEX connections with the tubing itself doing most of the work in making strong and permanent joints. Connections are made using Milwaukee Tool’s M12 ProPEX expander. Fittings are available in both brass and engineered plastic, and are available in diameters from 3/8” to a new 2” size, which is ideal for larger multifamily residential and commercial projects.
