By Natalie Forster, Editorial Director, Nicole Krawcke

September 5, 2023

Dominick Esposito

AGE: 36

COMPANY: F.W. WEBB

TITLE: PRIVATE LABEL SALES & PRODUCT MANAGER

How long have you been in the PHCP-PVF industry?

My journey in the PHCP-PVF industry began 22 years ago. I attended a trade school where I focused on plumbing. I graduated as a Licensed Plumbing Apprentice. By age 19, I obtained my Journeyman Plumbers License. A decade later, I earned my Master Plumbers License. I moved to the wholesale industry in 2016 when I joined F.W. Webb.

What drew you into the industry?

Numerous aspects drew me to this industry. The biggest was the creativity of designing new and replacement systems and bringing them to life. Plus, I’ve always excelled at fixing things. That and my strong work ethic made me a natural for a PHCP-PVF career.

What is the most rewarding aspect of working in the industry?

My job allows me countless opportunities to educate and inspire others. This happens daily whether I’m talking to customers or engaging our sales associates. My plumbing background also allows me to give back to the community. I serve as a Plumbing Department Advisory for three technical high schools. This role lets me help students who, like me, envision a career in this industry.

What motivates you every day?

Each day allows new opportunities to help my customers and meet people from various backgrounds related to the PHCP-PVF industry.

What is one thing you wish more people knew/understood about the PHCP-PVF industry?

When you have the right resources, a more straightforward, better and economically-feasible solution always presents itself. I enjoy helping my customers solve their challenges.

What has been your proudest moment in your career so far?

I recently earned a promotion to Private Label Sales & Product Manager. My career path has given me the necessary opportunities and experiences to shine in this role.

What is one thing most people don’t know about you?

I enjoy traveling and exploring the world. There is so much to see and appreciate.

“Dominick Esposito, F.W. Webb’s Private Label Sales and Product Manager, began his plumbing career over 20 years ago in high school. His first job involved delivering supplies to job sites or the shop. Dominick then fueled all the fleet vehicles and stocked them with supplies. He would even wash and wax the entire fleet. Most days, he worked until 2:00 to 3:00 a.m. before heading home for a few hours of sleep until it was time for school.

He graduated high school as a Licensed Plumbing Apprentice. By age 19, Dominick earned his Journeyman Plumbers License. A decade later, he attained his Master Plumbers License.

Dominick joined F.W. Webb in 2016 as an Inside Sales Associate. Within two years, he earned promotions to Outside Sales and then, Plumbing Product Manager.

Dominick is a knowledgeable professional whose enthusiasm for his work is contagious. His extensive experience in the industry makes him a great resource and valued member of the F.W. Webb team.

As an advisory committee member, Dominick helps keep each school’s curriculum current with modern construction products and standards. He also works to help place students in the plumbing and plumbing-related industries.

In addition, Dominick collaborates with numerous F.W. Webb locations to donate plumbing supplies and coordinate live trainings and events for students.”

— Steven Auger, Content Writer, F.W. Webb Co.
