Northeastern Supply, one of the Mid-Atlantic’s fastest growing plumbing and HVAC distributors announced the acquisition of Shank Wholesalers, supplier of plumbing and heating products. The purchase will better serve the needs of Northeastern Supply’s Virginia customers in the Harrisonburg area. 

Shank Wholesalers, Inc. is a locally owned and operated plumbing and heating wholesaler located in Harrisonburg, VA (1136 S High Street). The purchase of Shank Wholesalers further increases Northeastern Supply’s share in the residential and commercial plumbing and HVAC market.

Northeastern Supply will continue the same infrastructure currently at Shank Wholesalers.  That being a full- service store, focusing on valued customers in both the residential and commercial plumbing, HVAC, and water systems segments featuring brands such as Watts, Oatey, Bradford White, Elkay, State Water Heaters, American Standard, TOTO and Zurn, just to name a few. Local inventory will be backed by a 200,000 square foot distribution center that is home to tens of thousands of products that are available at a moment’s notice.

Northeastern Supply has announced that Tom Frye will remain the branch manager for Harrisonburg. Tom has been with Shank for 47 years and has been General Manager for over 20 years. He has the industry knowledge and expertise to lead his team into this new chapter and will continue to serve all of our customers with the same service that they have come to rely on. Tom stated, “By being a part of the Northeastern family I feel that we can offer the same exceptional service as well as expand on many new opportunities that are now available with NE Supply.”
