Women in Industry ELEVATE Spring Conference

For the sixth year in a row, some of the brightest, most determined members of our industry will gather in San Diego, California to continue their annual meeting of the minds.

There will be veterans, those in the middle of their careers and those beginning their way down our wonderful industry path. They all have one thing in common: the pursuit of elevating their current state. Well, maybe two things.

ELEVATE2019, presented by the American Supply Association’s Women in Industry division, is scheduled for April 30-May 2. Here is what you can expect from this year’s event:

  • Make industry connections for professional growth;
  • Build lasting relationships;
  • Share and learn valuable tips with your peers;
  • Gain tools for lasting success;
  • Build a strong support network; and
  • Increase visibility of women in the industry.

There are endless opportunities to network! Our new attendee welcome event, the networking breakfast and our Elevate Your Connections evening event will provide countless chances to get to know other playmakers in our industry. Networking is a tool — use it!

And don’t forget the education we’ve worked into this year’s schedule. We have you covered on learning how to improve your tech savviness to increase your personal ROI, and a new approach to balancing work/life, thus making you the greatest asset to your company.

Not enough learning? How about a Meet the Pros session covering everything from human resources to sales to negotiations? Roundtables on requested topics also will be available. If you’re not learning, you’re not trying!

Something new you can expect at ELEVATE2019 is the presentation of the first-annual Alice Martin Woman of the Year Award. This award is meant to recognize women in our industry who have a record of significant accomplishment within the industry, and embody the character of the late Alice Martin of NIBCO.

When asked, “What is the biggest value you receive from your participation in the ASA Women in Industry ELEVATE Spring Conference?” our members said:

“Networking. The opportunity to meet different women in a variety of roles within the industry is very beneficial. Sharing information and ideas has really helped me succeed in my career.”- Katie Brummund, Midwest Sales & Marketing.

“The biggest value I received was having the opportunity to meet so many other women in this industry. It was nice to be able to relate to their stories and feel inspired by the great things they are doing in and for our industry.”- Kayla Schmitt, Bradley Corp.

“This group is incredible. The positive energy, wealth of knowledge and mutual respect shared by all is beyond impressive.”- Judy Kimble, First Supply.

Learn, exchange best practices and grow as valued employers and employees. Will you be there? Will you be sending one of your greatest assets to elevate your business to an even greater level? This event has become so valued by ASA members that we are once again expecting record attendance.
