The Board of Directors of Elkhart, Indiana-based NIBCO announced the appointment of Ashley Martin to the Executive Leadership Team and as an officer of its Board of Directors. She continues her responsibilities as senior vice president of sales, overseeing wholesale sales, retail and specialty sales.

Martin has held a variety of positions since joining NIBCO in 2012. She began her career as a sales trainee, where she won the sales trainee of the year award. Her other positions have included director of distribution and transportation, general manager of the PEX product line and vice president of wholesale sales.

Martin co-founded the American Supply Association Women in Industry group in 2013. She served a two-year term as chairperson, beginning in 2016.

Martin received her bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, Indiana. She holds a master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in strategy and operations management from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. Prior to earning her MBA, Martin studied at the Copenhagen Business School in Denmark.
