I recently visited with Stan Dreyfuss of SG Supply in Calumet Park, IL. He is officially Director of Purchasing, but it's very clear when you get to know him that the company doesn't stand on titles, for Stan is obviously much more than that.

Recognizing that an almost infinite number of possible financial and operating performance ratios can be calculated, a key challenge for making comparative ratio analysis meaningful is to identify: 1) which ratios are the most useful to monitor, and 2) with what frequency?
