Robertson Heating Supply (RHS) is pleased to announce it has completed a definitive letter of intent to purchase the assets of MacDonald Supply. MacDonald Supply is a 55-year-old, 2nd generation distributor operating three Ohio locations in Findlay, Defiance and Bellefontaine.

While it may feel like the other side of the world, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine will have lasting effects — including sparking the European Union’s hasty transition to energy independence. In May, the EU announced a $300 billion roadmap to ditch Russian energy — mainly oil and gas. The EU said it would slash consumption of Russian gas by 66% by the end of the year, and break its dependence completely by 2027 by saving energy, finding alternate sources and speeding up the transition to renewables, according to ABC News.

A homeowner in Michigan sent an email that had me shaking my head, and not for the first time. Listen: “Our house is heated by a Utica Gas Boiler that was here when we purchased this house. Sitting next to the boiler is a Hoffman boiler-feed pump. The problem we have encountered is that we’ve had to have the pump replaced five times since 1981. We have hard water (with iron) but I am not sure if that is the problem.
