Women continue to make impact in male-dominated PHCP supply chain.

While stereotypes and traditional gender roles have long perpetuated the notion that plumbing is a man's job, women are challenging these norms and reshaping the landscape of the industry.

As we celebrate Women’s History Month and Women in Construction Week, Supply House Times is shining the spotlight on 10 influential women who are leading the PHCP-PVF industry to great success.

Each year, Supply House Times asks industry associations and leadership groups to submit nominations for the 10 Influential PHCP-PVF Women list. Nominations are also open via social media and by reaching out to Editorial Director Natalie Forster directly.

From tradeswomen to engineers, these women are challenging stereotypes and demonstrating that gender is not a determinant of skill or capability in this industry.

This year’s honorees are Nicole Chikhani, Kathy Dwyer, Catherine Filibes-Massih, Aimen Imtiaz, Lisa Hall, Morgan Kish, Jennifer Light, Janet Newman, Amy Steinhouse Newman, and Kylie Schoppe.

From saleswomen to product managers, these women are challenging stereotypes and demonstrating that gender is not a determinant of skill or capability in this industry.

Representation is more important than ever, and each of the women below shares the most rewarding aspects of a career in the trades as well as misconceptions they wish people understood about the plumbing industry.
