The focus of WII is empowering women by providing them with the opportunity to connect — through practical guidance, direction and education to reach their individual and company’s professional goals. Even more important, WII has become a great example that we can display to women who are considering joining our industry of the exciting careers that are being built by women in our industry.
ASA’s Women in Industry division annual event will take place virtually April 20 to 23. Since its inception in 2016, ELEVATE has grown to bring more than 200 women from the PHCP-PVF industry together each year for an event full of inspiring educational sessions, networking and fun.
Before joining WJNY as president and CEO, I worked as an executive at The Estee Lauder Companies. While there, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to work for and learn from one of the leading CEOs in the world, Fabrizio Freda.
Last fall, amidst the uncertainty of the year to come, the ASA Education Foundation and the ASA Executive Committee committed to move forward with PROJECT VITALITY, the final of three ASA mega initiatives that comprise the Building One Future platform.
Now that the dust has settled from the general election and the U.S. Senate runoff election in Georgia, there is no doubt that the 117th Congress will have the closest partisan balance in modern history.
