Fortiline Waterworks is now open in Friendswood, Texas, replacing Morrison Supply’s waterworks branch at 14500 Beamer Rd., Friendswood, TX, 77546. The Friendswood branch features a fully stocked 12,000-sq.-ft. warehouse with a 10-acre yard. With this new branch, Fortiline now has 44 distribution branches in 12 states.

Fortiline will provide local customers with a high-density polyethylene piping (HDPE) product line at the Friendswood location, as well as McElroy fusion equipment for rental or purchase. The company noted Fortiline’s HDPE Fusion Group is ready to assist customers with the growing use of HDPE products, particularly in water and wastewater applications.

 Fortiline, the second-largest American-owned wholesale distributor of underground water, sewer and storm utility products in the United States, was acquired by MORSCO, a Fort Worth-based distributor of commercial and residential plumbing products, heating and cooling equipment (HVAC), and pipe, valves and fittings products on Oct. 31, 2016.
