Ferguson acquires Bruce-Rogers Co.

June 13, 2016

Newport News Va.-based Ferguson Enterprises announces the acquisition of Bruce-Rogers Co., in a stock transaction completed May 23.

Bruce-Rogers Co., a plumbing and HVAC equipment supply house, serves contractors in western Arkansas, eastern Oklahoma and southern Missouri.
Ferguson notes Bruce-Rogers Co. has a legacy of commitment to customer service since its founding in 1922.

“We look for companies that align with Ferguson’s culture and our commitment to world-class customer service,” Ferguson CEO Frank Roach explained. “We are excited to welcome Bruce-Rogers Co., and its loyal customers to the Ferguson family.”

Bruce-Rogers Co.’s home office is located in Fort Smith, Ark. It has 42 employees in its six branch locations in the Arkansas cities of Rogers, Russellville, Conway, Mena and Hot Springs. The Bruce-Rogers Co. brand will continue under the new ownership, now operating as Bruce-Rogers Co., a Ferguson enterprise.

“It was a chance encounter between a Bruce-Rogers Co. staff member and a Ferguson associate that resulted in this acquisition,” Bruce-Rogers Co. President and General Manager Douglas G. Rogers III said. “This acquisition has the potential to be greatly beneficial to Ferguson, the Bruce-Rogers Co. employees and the customers they serve. I can’t say enough about the professionalism of the Ferguson associates in making this transition as smooth as possible.”
