Milwaukee-based United P & H, a fourth-generation, family-owned distributor of industrial, technical and plumbing products, appointed Richard Chojnacki to president and general manager. Chojnacki, previously vice president of operations and assistant general manager, now oversees administrative, information technology, inventory management, purchasing and warehouse operations. Chojnacki is a 15-year United veteran.

He will continue to work closely with Chip Roska, who moves from president and general manager to chief executive officer. Roska primarily will focus on business development and will continue to oversee the company’s sales initiatives. Roska has been with United for 37 years.

“Rick is well-respected by our people,” Roska said. “His ability to drive process improvement is a great asset to our company. I expect United to thrive under his strong leadership.”

United is a member of the Affiliated Distributors buying group.
