WinWholesale' WinAir And Noland Co. To Distribute

Nordyne's NuTone Heating & Cooling Products

January 1, 2008
Left to right: Doug Jones, vice president, Marketing & Sales, Nordyne; Jean Preston, COO, Noland Co.; Rick Schwartz, president & CEO, WinWholesale; Dave LaGrand, president & CEO, Nordyne.

Nordyne, a subsidiary of privately held Nortek Inc., and WinWholesale (Dayton, OH) announced the introduction of the NuTone Heating and Cooling Products line to the HVAC marketplace exclusively through Noland Co. (Newport News, VA) branches and participating WinAir distributors. Noland Co. is a wholly owned subsidiary of WinWholesale.

Noland will no longer carry its current line of HVAC products and will immediately offer NuTone premium comfort products to its contractor customers. Noland plans to hold a company-wide meeting in early 2008 to roll out the complete product strategy. Regional rollouts for Noland began in December. Additionally, Noland will also carry Nordyne-made Gibson heating and cooling products for new construction markets, and Mammoth products for their light commercial customers.

NuTone residential products will be available in air conditioning and heat pump models with 13-23 SEER; furnaces in 80-95.1% AFUE efficiencies; and packaged systems (not shown), available in 13-14 SEER.

The NuTone product line will include a full line of energy-efficient products, including the iQ Drive air-conditioning system.

Nordyne CEO and President Dave LaGrand views WinWholesale and Noland as ideal distribution partners for Nordyne. “We are extremely impressed with their people and capabilities and know they will do a terrific job in marketing the exciting line of NuTone heating and cooling products. There is a tremendous amount of consistency between WinWholesale’s goals and our goals, and I believe we share the same competitive and enterprising spirit that will help to ensure our mutual success.”

“This partnership is very exciting for WinWholesale and Noland because it provides high-quality HVAC equipment to customers from a leading manufacturer and a leading wholesale distributor,” said Rick Schwartz, president and CEO of WinWholesale. “We are committed to providing our customers the best service delivery, including dependable expertise as well as breadth and depth of available products. Offering NuTone Heating and Cooling Products reinforces this commitment,” said Jean Preston, chief operating officer for Noland Co.
