The Figure 28 has a “stand-off” design that reduces installation time by eliminating the need for wood blocking extensions. It has flared edges to protect plastic pipe from scratches and abrasions, and it meets NFPA 13 requirements. It is UL listed as a Hanger and Restrainer and for installation into 3/8-inch thick composite wood. It is available in 3/4- to 2-inch sizes.
