Carrier adds Purafil to IAQ product line
Carrier Corp. and Purafil Inc. reached an agreement for Carrier to market Purafil's commercial filtration products in North America. Through the arrangement, Carrier becomes the first major manufacturer of commercial HVAC systems to offer a full range of gas-phase filtration products specifically designed to improve indoor air quality.
Carrier is packaging the filter sets as kits to permit easy installation in new and existing rooftop units, air-handling equipment, energy-recovery ventilators and unit ventilators without any design or hardware changes. Customers will be able to obtain Purafil replacement products through Carrier service programs and its Totaline parts stores.
