Tony Taschler, 56, regional sales manager for Sharpe Valves, died April 17 in St. Louis of a heart attack. Taschler was a lifelong sales veteran in the flow control industry. Over the last 30 years he worked for Keystone Valve, Hammond Valve, Zydell and SVF.

He had been employed by Sharpe Valves for two years and currently was pioneering the development of Sharpe Valves' distribution system in the Midwest. Taschler also was a highly decorated Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
