In a conference at the Apprentice and Journeymen Technical Training Center in Bellwood, Ill., the Testing, Adjusting and Balancing Bureau (TABB) emphasized that the risk for building owners has risen since 9/11.

"Our level of security in buildings is being challenged like never before," bio-terrorism expert Dr. James E. Woods told a Chicago press conference held in conjunction with the AHR Expo. "We need to have credible information because our lives may depend on it."

The Training Center was built in 1996 and has a state-of-the-art testing and balancing laboratory that trains workers to provide "credible information" dealing with bio-terrorism.
