Winsupply Family of Companies donates $250,000 in PPE to Area Agencies

Winsupply Inc. and Winsupply Sourcing LLC, in partnership with Winsupply Local Companies in several US markets, have made a significant donation of over $250,000 worth of personal protective equipment (PPE) this winter and flu season.

Winsupply Inc. and its national Winsupply Sourcing Services have facilitated the donation of over $266,000 worth of PPE by a half-dozen entrepreneur-led Winsupply local supply houses across the U.S. Winsupply entrepreneurs have identified worthy recipients – nursing homes, food banks, and homeless shelters – to receive dozens of pallets of masks, gloves, hand sanitizer, and no-touch thermometers.

“We’re always looking for ways to take care of our communities, and when needs align, we’re happy to participate,” said Guy Pauley, Senior Vice President, Supply Chain, Winsupply Inc.

In the Dayton region, the following Winsupply Local Companies donated supplies to:

  • Good Neighbor House, donated by Centerville Winsupply, led by President Brandon Kile;
  • The Foodbank in Dayton, donated by Dayton Windustrial, led by President Brad Williams;
  • St. Vincent de Paul Gateway Shelter for Women and Children in Dayton, donated by Winsupply Dayton Electrical, led by President Kora Yochum; and
  • City of Moraine, donated by Winsupply of Dayton, led by President Jeff Williams.

“The St. Vincent de Paul Gateway Shelter for Women and Families gives people shelter and provides them with supplies and stability to empower them to start a new life. It was someplace that meant something to me,” said Kora Yochum, President, Winsupply Dayton Electrical. “We value compassion and supporting our community and those in need. To be able to give back and spread support, kindness, and hope really means something.”

A customer of Dayton Windustrial, the Dayton Foodbank will mark its 50th anniversary in 2026. The Foodbank distributes about 18 million pounds of food each year to over 120 nonprofit partners in Montgomery, Greene, and Preble counties.

In 2026, the Foodbank will open a community center to include two medical exam rooms, SNAP and WIC application assistance, a probation office, a commercial kitchen, and training facilities.

The recent donation by Dayton Windustrial of PPE masks, gloves, and thermometers will be used in the medical exam rooms.

“Our mission is to eliminate hunger and its root causes. This work is only possible through the generous support and partnership from corporate partners like Dayton Windustrial,” said Lee Lauren Truesdale, Chief Development Officer, Dayton Foodbank.

The Dayton Foodbank has partnered with Dayton Windustrial in the past to purchase a water bottle filling station for the community and a new frost-proof outdoor watering system for the incoming community center.

Jeff Williams, President, Winsupply of Dayton, said their donation to the City of Moraine builds on an existing three-year relationship with the parks and recreation department, the police department, and the maintenance department.

“We have a great relationship with the City of Moraine, and being based here in Moraine, it just made a lot of sense,” Williams said. “This time of year is when a lot of people really take the time to slow down and think about giving to people, organizations, and charities. We’re blessed here with the Winsupply model and for the opportunity to give back to our community.”

In other parts of the US where Winsupply operates distribution centers and supply houses, PPE donations were made by:

  • Portland Winair, led by President Jeff Plenzio in Middletown, Connecticut;
  • Jacksonville Noland, led by President Rodney Hatmaker in Jacksonville, Florida;
  • Denver Winair, led by President Tom Weinrich in Denver, Colorado; and
  • Charleston Winsupply, led by President Blake Westbrook in North Charleston, South Carolina.

Throughout the year, Winsupply Sourcing Services also supports charities such as Habitat for Humanity with construction building materials, said Robert Kellar, Senior Director, Operations, Winsupply Sourcing LLC. In 2024 and 2025, Winsupply Inc. was a finalist for Community Supporter of the Year by Dayton Business Journal. The company won the newspaper’s 2023 Community Supporter of the Year Award.
