Members of the ASA Plumbing Division Advisory Group meet each year to determine whether to award an individual with the coveted ASA Plumbing Division Award of Excellence.

ASA presents the award to members who have a long‐standing history of service in the PHCP industry in addition to positively affecting the industry including a strong track record of service to ASA.

After meeting earlier this year, it was unanimously decided to present this year’s award to Randy Wool, president and CEO of Miami, Florida-based Wool Plumbing Supply.

"Randy’s contributions to the entire industry and his selfless dedication to ASA made the choice to bestow this honor a very easy decision," said Kevin McJoynt, chair of the ASA Plumbing Division Award of Excellence subcommittee.

ASA’s Plumbing Division Advisory Group exists to ensure the priorities and issues facing the plumbing supply-chain are elevated to ASA’s strategic councils to ensure the association’s activities are appropriately aligned.

"I am personally pleased that Randy is receiving this honor," ASA CEO Mike Adelizzi said. "His dedication to ASA over the years, including serving as chair of the Plumbing Division Advisory Group and a dedicated supporter of the ASA PAC over the years, are perfect examples of his unwavering commitment to our industry."

Wool will now be added to a prestigious list of previous winners including Wally Gumm, Rick Schwartz, Joe Poehling, Joe Maiale, Randy Tice, Jeff New, Bruce Carnevale, Rick Fantham and Jim Lewis.

Wool will receive the award during ASA’s All-Industry Breakfast on Thursday, Nov. 13 at the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort during NETWORK2025. The breakfast will also feature a conversation with baseball legend Cal Ripken Jr.
