The e-1510X features the highest efficiency IE5 permanent magnet assisted synchronous reluctance motor — which does not user any rare earth materials, so it has less environmental and social impact — a testament to Xylem’s ongoing commitment to sustainability. This magnet selection also protects against potential supply chain instabilities from increased electric vehicle market demand and trade disputes. Additionally, advanced control algorithms and smart curve technology enable the pumps to dynamically adjust to always operate at their most efficient point, further reducing the energy consumed by the system.
