AGE: 38
COMPANY: BK PLUMBING SUPPLY
TITLE: SHOWROOM MANAGER

How long have you been in the PHCP-PVF industry?
AB:
20 years.

What drew you into the industry?
AB:
When I finished high school I thought my path was going into the health care industry. While in college I worked for my dad at a plumbing wholesale showroom. I ended up really falling in love with the design aspect of the plumbing showroom business.

What is the most rewarding aspect of working in the industry?
AB: I love working with people and seeing them leave happy with the selections I helped them make.

What is one thing you wish more people knew/understood about the PHCP-PVF industry?
AB:
Plumbing is not only pipes and water heaters. There is a lot of interior design that goes into the showroom side of plumbing.  The fixtures, faucets and accessories can elevate the overall design of your remodel or new construction project.

What has been the proudest moment in your career so far?
AB:
I have had many proud moments in my career, but I think my favorite is when I meet with a client that was referred to me by a previous happy client.

What is one thing most people don’t know about you?
AB:
I am a huge fan of listening to audiobooks in the car. It’s my biggest guilty pleasure, especially Stephen King novels.
