Rooted in the company’s heightened desire to do more, Saniflo USA, a division of Group SFA, has donated to Feeding America to provide 6,000 meals to families in need. One dollar helps provide at least 10 meals secured by Feeding America on behalf of local member food banks. The company also donated to Meals on Wheels providing 100 meals to those in need.

SFA Saniflo, a global manufacturer of above-the-floor macerating and grinding toilets and drain pumps, plans to donate to both organizations again later this year to support National Hunger Awareness Month in September.

“We believe in the power of food to nourish communities across the United States,” says Regis Saragosti, CEO of SFA Saniflo North America. “With millions of Americans without access to nutritious meals, we must help however we can.”

Feeding America is the largest hunger-relief organization in the United States. Through a network of more than 200 food banks, 21 statewide food bank associations and over 60,000 partner agencies, food pantries and meal programs, they helped provide 6.6 billion meals to tens of millions of people in need last year. Feeding America also supports programs that prevent food waste and improve food security among the people they serve; brings attention to the social and systemic barriers that contribute to food insecurity in our nation; and advocates for legislation that protects people from going hungry.

Meals on Wheels America, a leadership organization supporting more than 5,000 community-based programs across the United States, is dedicated to addressing senior isolation and hunger. Their network serves virtually every community in the country. Along with more than two million staff and volunteers, it delivers nutritious meals, friendly visits and safety checks that enable America’s seniors to live nourished lives with independence and dignity.

“As part of our continued pursuit of community welfare, we are fortunate to have the opportunity to contribute to incredible causes like Feeding America and Meals on Wheels,” says Saragosti.
