- Plymouth, Minnesota-based Dakota Supply Group recently named JARED WINTERBOER, CAMERON PEDERSON, BRIAN EUBANKS, BRANDON MESSER, JASON HAMMERS, JUSTIN NELSON and ERNIE COMPANION as new regional sales managers. This newly created role, DSG noted, brings dedicated focus to providing a world-class customer experience across all customer groups throughout each of DSG’s regions. Winterboer will focus on the electrical segment throughout the South Dakota region, while Perderson, a 19-year DSG veteran, will oversee sales activities across the North Dakota region. Eubanks, with 29 years on the books at DSG, will lead sales activities throughout the Wisconsin region, plus the Winona, Minnesota branch. Messer, a 17-year DSG veteran, will lead electrical sales throughout the Minnesota region. Hammers will focus on sales activities for the mechanical segment throughout the South Dakota region. Nelson will lead sales activities for the Montana region. Companion will lead mechanical selling activities throughout the Minnesota region. “The regional sales managers will ensure we recognize and deliver best practices throughout the sales organization, while tailoring those to serve each of our local markets,” DSG COO MIKE MEIRESONNE said.
- Concord, New Hampshire-based The Granite Group hired industry veteran ALICIA CRINITI as senior vice president of marketing. Criniti previously worked at F.W. Webb.
- In other recent DSG news, DENNY DEMONTIGNY joined the distributor as branch manager of its business in Plymouth. Demontigny has more than 25 years of experience in the distribution industry. Also, MARK JOHNSON was promoted to branch manager of the DSG branch in Missoula, Montana. Johnson has been with DSG in progressive roles for more than 30 years.
- DEVIN ABELLON, P.E., business development manager for engineering services at Uponor North America, recently was named the recipient of the 2019-2020 George B. Hightower Technical Achievement Award. The honor was presented at the 2020 ASHRAE annual conference, held virtually this year. The award recognizes excellence in volunteer, leadership and service to the organization’s technical committees, technical groups and technical research groups.
- RLS, a U.S.-based manufacturer of the RLS Rapid Locking System line of flame-free press fittings for the HVAC and refrigeration industries, announced GRANT PHIPPS joined the company as managing director, Rapid Locking System Europe.
- Cleveland, Ohio-based industry communications marketing firm SONNHALTER is partnering with Habitat for Humanity again for its 11th annual Sonnhalter Tool Drive. In the past decade, Sonnhalter has raised more than $280,000 worth in donations for the organization. During the month of August, organizations, businesses and manufacturers are encouraged to donate extra inventory, demo models, tools and building materials to benefit efforts to eliminate substandard housing.
