Current situation:  

• NYMEX domestic hot-rolled coil steel prices were $577 per ton for March futures (also $577 per ton in the last update).  
   
• Producer prices for steel pipe and tube were down 0.3% month-over-month in February (also down 0.3% last month).  Year-over-year, prices are 5.8% lower (6.6% lower Y/Y last month). 

Key factors that could affect supply or price:

• This has been an active month in regards to carbon steel pipe pricing. Despite one significant increase, prices have settled back to where they were to start the month.
