Domestic Malleable Fittings / Welded Nipples: December 2019
November 29, 2019
Steelmakers expect mill products to rise ~10% in Q1 2020 along with a larger increase in scrap. We expect to see a ~5% increase in domestic iron fittings and welded nipples as the price of CW rises. Domestic capacity remains satisfactory for project demand and fill rates remain in the 99% range.
