Domestic Malleable Fittings / Welded Nipples: October 2020
October 1, 2020
Steel prices have shown consistent increases over the past month. We expect to see a 5% increase on the back of projected steel scrap / CW pipe increases before Q1 2021. Demand remains stable and fill rates should be ~98% for standard sizes / classes through Q4 2020. Imports have been greatly reduced which has caused some constraints among domestic manufacturers.
