Indianapolis, Indiana-based Central Supply Co. President and CEO Ted Ashcraft announced a bevy of promotions and appointments. Miguel Cabrera was promoted to vice president-plumbing operations, while Joe Hughes was promoted to vice president and CFO. Jeff Stevens was promoted to vice president-marketing, while Ben Gerber was promoted to general manager of the Fort Wayne branch. Damon Jarvis was promoted to general manager of the electrical division, while Brandon Bently was promoted to Indianapolis office manager. Mike Kibbee was appointed systems operations manager, while Bret Govert was appointed sales manager-plumbing division-Indianapolis. Jim Cain was promoted to corporate warehouse director, while Karen Garner was promoted to general manager-showrooms. Kenny Smith was promoted to corporate purchasing director.

Central also executed four successful customer-appreciation events. The distributor’s annual March Madness event at Smokey Bones restaurant in Fort Wayne attracted an estimated 220 customers and reps who watched the opening round of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament.

Central then served more than 400 customers, reps and manufacturers at its annual customer-appreciation hog roast and vendor showcase event. Longtime rep and partner Rick Dodd was lauded for his assistance.

Central hosted more than 40 customers and vendor partners at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in May during the Fast Friday event. The company’s Fort Wayne location hosted nearly 200 customers, families and reps at Four Winds Field in South Bend for a South Bend Cubs game. And finally, associates and family members of Central volunteered at the 2019 Indiana State Special Olympics in Terre Haute.
