As California faces its worst drought on record, a start-up in Irvine, California, has developed a new system called SmartFaucets, a patented technology that combines the motion sensor faucets with an electronic touchpad with preset temperature and timer to override the sensor when it fails.
Combining high design standards with proven infrared technology, Dornbracht Touchfree faucets are efficient, effective and ideal for use in upscale semipublic locations and, more recently, in private bathrooms and powder rooms, the company explains.
HamatUSA's newest faucet line is sleek and sophisticated with detailing that lends a decidedly modern flair, the company notes. The faucets feature linear spouts and are completely constructed from premium 316 stain-less steel and then finished with a unique mix of polishing and brushing techniques. The collection features single- and dual-handle faucet designs with optional side sprayers and spout projections nearly 12” tall. The series also offers a more compact version intended for bar spaces that stands just over 8”.
The latest advancement in Moen’s whole-home Smart Water Network, the Smart Faucet with Motion Control, features new, touchless technology that allows the user to control temperature by using simple hand motions.
The ligature-resistant design reduces the opportunity for self-harm and is ideal for behavioral health facilities, hospitals, correctional facilities or similar environments.
The Rettangolo K is the latest iteration of the brand’s Rettangolo Faucet Collection. The single-lever design is minimalist, clean and simple and comes in 15 different configurations for basins, tubs, bidets and showers.
