The Collins Companies announced an agreement to acquire Washburn- Garfield Corporation, a supplier of industrial and commercial pipe, valves, and fittings in Worcester, Massachusetts, as well as their subsidiary, Waites Co., a distributor of abrasives and cutting tools in that market.

In the first two seasons, We Supply America executive producer and host Dirk Beveridge traveled over 31,000 miles getting to know 59 distributors, their frontline employees and the history of their businesses along the way.

Dice replaced former President John McKenzie who retired on Feb.28. Dice joined Winsupply in 2004 as a regional financial officer for Winsupply Group Services — Dayton. Soon, he moved into internal audit and then into leadership roles: first for electronic data integration, and then for acquisitions as a due diligence specialist.

AD and The Baron Group, the premier buying group serving independent groundwater systems distributors, announced an intent to merge the two organizations. The merger is expected to close on June 30.

The Macomb Group announced its expansion into Central Ohio and West Virginia with a 132,000 square foot building located at 777 North James Road in Columbus.

Equipment Controls Company, an ASA manufacturer member based out of Norcross, Georgia, was ready to take training to the next level.

MacArthur Company, a 110-year-old employee-owned leader in the distribution of building supplies, this week completed its acquisition of American Metals Supply, a leading wholesale distributor of sheet and coil steel, prefabricated duct and fittings, and a complete line of HVAC products. 

For the second year in a row, 100% of Premier 150 Survey respondents reported an increase in sales in 2022 when compared to 2021. When it comes to projections for fiscal year 2023, 81% of these distributor respondent say sales will increase while 14% expect sales to remain the same and 4% anticipate a decrease in sales.
