Domestic pricing on forged steel and malleable iron fittings should remain flat through Q4 2019.

Valve prices according to the Producer Price Index were up 0.4% month-over-month in May (flat last month). On a year-over-year basis, prices were up 3.9% (up 3.3% last month).

The producer price index for copper tube and fittings was up 1.6% month-over-month (up 1.2% in the last update) but was down -.1% year-over-year.

Market remains strong through June; inventory levels have supported the demand following increase announcements in 2nd quarter.

Producer prices for HDPE pipe were down 1.2% M/M (-.6% last month) and were down 1.4% Y/Y (down .7% Y/Y last month).  Plastic pipe fittings and unions were up 2.1% M/M (down .6% last month), and up 6.7% Y/Y (up 5.4% last month).

Nickel prices have declined over the past 30 days to around $5.28 per lb., falling over the last 60 days about 9%.
