David’s legacy lives on through the company he helped build, the values he championed, and the many lives he influenced along the way

At United Pipe & Steel, where Slattery spent many years serving customers across the country, his influence was profound. Colleagues describe him as someone with encyclopedic knowledge of the steel pipe business and a passion for teaching others.

He served as AIM/R President (2018 – 2019), AIM/R Conference Chair (2017), and is the Founder of the AIM/R Hall of Fame Award. 

Babin Jr. started his career with Coburn’s in 1982 and revolutionized how Coburn Supply Company sold air conditioning parts and equipment.

Mr. Mullett passed away peacefully at his home in Wisconsin today, April 8, surrounded by his family. 

Mary Jane (MJ) Abeling, 94, passed away on July 13, 2023. She was born on June 8, 1929 to Wilma and Clarence Blough in Temple City CA. She was the youngest of three sisters.

His Taco career path led to his most recent position as senior vice president, North American OEM Sales. He was loved by Taco employees and his customers as much as he loved them.

Known for his enthusiasm, creativity and passion for family, art, the outdoors, horses and golf, Kohler touched a network of many different types of people.

Danny Mariscal, chairman emeritus of Hirsch Pipe & Supply Co. located in Southern California passed away at the age of 83 on Feb. 8. His 57-year commitment to Hirsch Pipe & Supply Co., our employees and our customers will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.Danny started working at Hirsch as a bookkeeper in 1965 under the direction of Joe Hirsch. He quickly saw all sides of Hirsch, from completing odd jobs around the warehouse to assisting with sales at the counter. Through this experience, Danny fell in love with the organization, leading him to rise the ranks to become office manager.
