A significant percentage of AD’s overall YTD growth was the result of its 2024 merger with IMARK Electrical. However, AD members also acquired 75 companies year-to-date, including 24 fellow AD members and 51 from outside the group.

This merger of equals within the U.S. PHCP industry brings together two member-owned groups consisting of 325 independently owned PHCP distributors in the U.S. and will be part of the overall AD community of over 1,000 independents spanning nine construction and industrial verticals and fourteen divisions within the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
Briggs Inc. of Omaha, founded in 1906, has prioritized plumbers from inception. Initially a Briggs Pump, it later removed “pump' as it expanded to supply plumbing fixtures and products. Bought in 1921 by a local family who operated it until 2020, when two employees took over, it remains locally owned and operated.
Same-store sales increased by 2% in the U.S., 2% in Canada, and 3% in Mexico, in their respective currencies. Within AD’s nine industries, same store growth in Plumbing, PVF and HVAC were the most robust. Member purchases from AD suppliers grew 19%.
AD owner/member sales increased 6% to $83.3 billion. On a same-store basis, member sales in their respective currencies increased 4% in the U.S., 3% in Canada, and 10% in Mexico.
