Kelly and Cline’s arrival comes as two PHCP Business Unit leaders step away from AD. Linda Hoff, who served as Director of the Decorative Brands Division, retired in August, and Jeff Konen, Vice President, Supplier Programs, Plumbing and PVF Divisions, plans to retire at the end of the year.
As VP, AD Network Community, Abbas will be responsible for managing, implementing, innovating, and expanding AD’s meeting and network ecosystem including additional opportunities for peer-to-peer engagement opportunities for AD members.
Affiliated Distributors (AD) reported that total member sales in the first six months of 2022 were $36.1 billion, an increase of 29% across its 13 divisions and three countries.
Members of the AD PHCP Business Unit gathered from May 3 to 5 at the AD PHCP Spring Network Meeting in-person for the first time since 2019 with a record breaking 401 individuals in attendance.
AD reported that member sales in the first three months of 2022 were $17.2 billion, an increase of 35% across its 13 divisions and three countries compared to the first quarter of 2021. Same-store sales were up 27%. All 13 of AD’s divisions experienced double-digit sales growth.
AD associates participated in a giving back event on March 17 by supporting Cradles to Crayons, a Philadelphia-area nonprofit organization providing children from birth through age 12 living in homeless or low-income situations with the essential items they need to thrive. AD’s volunteer efforts, monetary donations and children’s item collection will support approximately 3,200 children in the Philadelphia region.
AD is reporting total 2021 member sales were $58.5 billion, a 30% increase from 2020, with purchases by member companies from AD supplier partners up 39% to $16.6 billion. Additionally, AD achieved a 49% increase in net distributions to its members, surpassing the $1 Billion milestone for the first time in the group’s 40-year history.
