As part of its 70th anniversary celebrations, BrassCraft Mfg. Co., announced it will continue to support the plumbing industry by offering scholarships through the BrassCraft Zell Scholarship Program, named in honor of company founder Robert M. Zell.

The BrassCraft Zell Scholarship provides $1,500 scholarships to support the next generation of skilled tradesmen and women. These funds help offset costs for plumbing apprentices enrolled in accredited four- or five-year training programs. The scholarships are available to apprentices on an annual basis.

“The Bureau of Labor & Statistics projection indicates employment in the plumbing industry will grow 21% through 2022 and with about one-third of the current workforce aging out, we have a responsibility to help attract talent and this scholarship program will help do that,” BrassCraft Mfg. Co. President Rick Meija said.
