Veteran PHCP-PVF journalist Mary Jo Martin has joined Supply House Times’ lineup of industry-leading columnists. Martin’s debut “Between Us” column on the upcoming retirement of Knoxville, Tenn.-based Modern Supply President and COO Dottie Ramsey appears in the August issue of the magazine.

“Mary Jo’s work over the last two decades shows the passion she has for our industry,” Supply House Times Editor Mike Miazga said. “Her writings bring to life the companies and people that comprise our great industry. We look forward to Mary Jo telling more of those stories in the pages of Supply House Times.”

Martin has returned to her roots with Supply House Times where she started her industry career in 1994. The Iowa native has been a PHCP-PVF fixture ever since, spending the last two decades chronicling the industry through a variety of platforms while building a coast-to-coast network of relationships.

“Covering this industry for the past two decades has been quite a ride, and I’m grateful for the extraordinary experiences and the rewarding relationships I’ve built along the way,” she said. “I sincerely appreciate Supply House Times for offering me a platform to continue sharing the stories of industry’s remarkable companies and people. I hope everyone will enjoy the personal touch I share in my ‘Between Us’ column.”

Martin currently is the marketing manager at Houston-based Mincron, a distribution-management software provider now part of KSC Group. Martin started at Mincron on Jan. 1.

“I now am thoroughly enjoying the fantastic environment and camaraderie at Mincron and the opportunity to further grow my career there,” she said. “I also want to thank Mincron General Manager Wendy Berger for her support and encouragement with this opportunity.”
