Fort Worth, Texas-based Morrison Supply recently announced the acquisition of two supply houses in Oklahoma and Texas.

Morrison Supply recently acquired the assets of Tulsa, Okla.-based Empire Plumbing Supply. EP Supply and its predecessors have been serving the plumbing, PVF and industrial supply needs of customers in Tulsa and surrounding communities since 1961.

EP Supply will be re-branded Morrison, but the EP personnel team will transition to Morrison.

“We welcome the EP Supply team to Morrison and look forward to working with them to provide customers with exceptional service and value,” Morrison President Stan Allen said. “Morrison has been targeting the Tulsa market and we are excited to work with the EP Supply team as the launching point for Morrison to the Tulsa and surrounding markets.”

We have been a fixture in the Tulsa market for more than 50 years serving the needs of our customers and the growing community. We will continue to be dedicated to the growth of our employees and to being a good corporate citizen. On a personal level, I am excited to join the Morrison team as I have observed its growth, company spirit and most importantly the dedication to its associates over the past several years.

“Morrison’s commitment to its associates, customers and the community aligns with my personal values and goals.I look forward to working with Morrison to continue to grow in the market, to continue to provide exceptional customer service and to expand our product offering, thus enhancing our service to our customers. Our success would not have been possible without our great employees, our loyal customers and our vendors. For this, I say thank-you!”

Morrison’s acquisition of EP Supply expands the company’s footprint in Oklahoma, adding to existing Morrison locations in Oklahoma City, Norman, Lawton, and Edmond.

Morrison acquires Western Wholesale

Morrison also recently announced it has acquired the assets of El Paso, Texas-based Western Wholesale Co.

Western is one of the largest showroom and builder-appliance businesses in the El Paso and surrounding markets. Western will be re-branded under the Morrison name, but the Western team will transition to Morrison with current Western leaders Sam Shallenberger, Frank Estrada, Vicki Marcusse, Gina Avila and all other current associates continuing to operate in the same format they have today.

“We welcome Western Wholesale to the Morrison family and look forward to partnering with them to provide our customers with great value and excellent service,” Allen said. “We will expand the current showroom displays and add to Western’s current product offering with an extensive line of plumbing, appliances, door-and-cabinet hardware, and lighting. We’ll feature signature plumbing brands such as Kohler, Delta and Elkay; as well as appliances such as Whirlpool, Electrolux, Sub Zero / Wolf, Thermador and Viking. Our plan is to have the premiere showroom for home builders and homeowners throughout the El Paso region.”

Western’s Shallenberger added: “I am excited to join the growing Morrison team. I have observed Morrison’s growth, company spirit and most importantly dedication to its associates over the past couple years. After 28 years as an independent wholesaler, I decided that Morrison was the only team I wanted to join and I am excited for myself, our associates and the opportunities they will have to grow and expand their careers. I also am excited for our customers. I am confident we will continue to offer the same exceptional service while expanding our product line and services.

“Western is proud of its accomplishments and the impact we have had on the El Paso community over these many years. Our success would not have been possible without our great employees, our loyal customers and our vendors. We look forward to continuing to provide great service to the builders and homeowners in the El Paso and surrounding markets.”

Morrison’s acquisition of Western expands the company’s footprint in west Texas and eastern New Mexico. Western also will add to the El Paso plumbing/HVAC branch located at 40 Butterfield Circle that opened in June.
