Peabody Supply sponsors Net-Zero energy home
The Net-Zero energy home is located in Salisbury, Mass.
Peabody (Mass.) Supply Co. and The Bath Showcase, a division of Hajoca Corp., recently was a sponsor of Boston magazine’s first-ever Net-Zero energy home in Salisbury, Mass.
The high-tech home is situated close to the Atlantic Ocean in an idyllic wooded community. The home features smart-home furnishings, eco-friendly appliances and attractive detailing.
The Bath Showcase provided Kohler energy-conscious fixtures with Water Sense technology. Materials such as cast iron, reclaimed wood and no-VOC paint were used.
“When this project came across my desk, I jumped at the opportunity,” Peabody’s Francesca Messina said. “Not only are we showcasing the beautiful kitchen-and-bath products we carry, but we are able to spread awareness of how simple it is to live in an eco-friendly home. Creating a smaller energy footprint is important.”
