Co-convened by the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) and theWorld Plumbing Council, the Third International Emerging Technology Symposium will be held May 1-2, 2012 in Bethesda, Md., at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Conference Center.

Assistant SecretaryKerri-Ann Jones, one of the highest-ranking officials in the U.S. State Department, will deliver the keynote address at the symposium. She currently serves as the Assistant Secretary of State for Oceans and International Environmental and Scientific Affairs, overseeing the department’s new international water partnership addressing water issues and shortages.

The two-day symposium will allow participants to view presentations and engage in lively discussions on how the water utility, manufacturing, engineering and trade industries have devised solutions to challenges in the water efficiency, HVAC, plumbing and mechanical industries.
