Mary C. Hedges, 85, former VP and treasurer of Schans Supply, Utica, MI, died July 25. She worked with her husband of 63 years, James G. Hedges, in the plumbing industry throughout her career. While he was a salesman at the W.T. Andrew Co. she helped with clerical work. During the 1960s and 1970s she served as the office manager for James Hedges and Associates (a manufacturers rep firm) and during the 1980s and Into, 1990s, 2000s she was the office manager/controller for Schans Supply.
