Uponor announced that Paul
McCulloch, its technical support supervisor for Fire Safety, was recently
appointed to the Residential Fire Sprinkler Design and Installation Exam
Development Committee by the International Code Council® (ICC) Board for
International Professional Standards (BIPS). The appointment is a three-year
term from Sept. 2, 2010, through Dec. 31, 2013.
McCulloch, who started with Uponor in 2003, has been designing, installing and training on residential fire sprinkler systems for more than 12 years.
At Uponor, he has moved from designer to lead designer and now supervisor on the company’s multipurpose plumbing and fire sprinkler system called AquaSAFE. He has become Uponor’s premier expert on residential fire sprinkler systems as well as U.S. and Canadian building and fire codes.
