Peerless Pump Co. named Bob York a 3-D drafter for development projects, Kevin Stickels a design engineer, and Kristina Lawyer a mechanical engineering intern.

York brings more than 18 years’ experience to Peerless, where his focus will be the 3-D modeling of new and existing products.

Stickels spent more than 12 years in a similar position with a local pump company. He also spends time as an instructor, teaching AutoCAD at a local technical school. Stickels will be working on the further development of Peerless’s end suction and process pump lines.

Lawyer is a student at Rose Hulman Institute of Technology. She will be updating drawings and further improving the efficiency of some of the company’s pump lines.

In other news, the company hired David McClintock as the manager of its Lubbock Quick Response Center. McClintock brings a 20-year background in the industry, where he held positions in facility management, inventory control and staff development.
