Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corp. has completed its purchase of the industrial filtration business of Hayward Industries. Terms were not disclosed. Eaton announced plans to purchase the business on July 8.
Hayward's industrial filtration business had sales of about $100 million over the last 12 months, and employs 530 people worldwide. Hayward Filtration produces filtration systems for industrial and commercial customers worldwide and is a global leader in liquid, high-purity bag filtration systems. Its primary markets include general industrial, petro-chemical, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, power utilities, marine and water.
Eaton is a diversified industrial manufacturer with 57,000 employees and 2004 sales of $9.8 billion.
